Cutter rowing / Cutter sailing

Cutter sailing & cutter rowing on the beautiful Dahme!

In cooperation with the Wassersportclub Wildau e. V., we added the exciting ‘cutter sailing and cutter rowing’ division to our varied programme in 2015. We are delighted to welcome the ‘Starker August’, a ZK10 sailing cutter, to our fleet. These impressive wooden boats with a length of approx. 7.50 metres and a width of 2.15 metres have a rich history and were formerly used by Seesportsektion der Gesellschaft für Sport und Technik.

Whether you already have experience in sailing and rowing or are completely new to this fascinating world - with us you have the perfect opportunity to try out taster sailing and discover and deepen your maritime passion. Immerse yourself in the basics of sailing and learn how to handle a sailing boat safely. From setting the sails for the first time to steering the boat, you will be introduced to the world of sailing step by step and gain valuable initial experience on the water.

Sailing is not only about learning the technique, but also about the care and maintenance of the boat. With us, you will learn the basics of boat care. From cleaning and maintaining the hull to caring for the sails and rigging - we teach you the knowledge and skills to keep your sailing boat in optimum condition. Boat care is an important part of sailing and contributes to the safety and longevity of the boat.

We look forward to welcoming you on board, in the team and to being on the water with you!
The meetings on the boat, the excursions and the communication in the harbour will be in German.
