Study objectives
The bachelor's programme European Management is a modern, internationally oriented business degree programme with a focus on Europe. The course is based on current modes of practice and covers the fi elds of economics, politics and law. The degree is special in that it combines courses run in English and German, a twelve week internship in a company abroad and the opportunity to study for a semester or two at one of our many partner universities around the world.
Course content
- Acquisition of basic knowledge in all business disciplines
- Acquisition of basic knowledge in European politics and business law
- Focus on developing international business knowledge particularly from a European perspective
- Acquisition of management skills to run businesses, public institutions and organizations at a mid-management level
Information for international students
The European Management bachelor's degree offers an excellent opportunity for foreign students to study in Germany. Full-time students take courses in English and German and graduate with a degree that enables them to work in mid-management positions worldwide. We also welcome students from our exchange universities who can join us for one or two semesters.

Specific admission requirements
- To be admitted to this degree programme, overseas applicants must possess sufficient German language skills. This may be demonstrated with an overall grade of DSH-2 or better from the Deutsche Sprachprüfung für Hochschulen (DSH) language exam.

To demonstrate proficiency in English, applicants for the Bachelor's degree programme have to:

a) have appropriate language proficiency equivalent to at least B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The annex lists the certificates which are accepted, provided they are not more than two years old. For examinations or certificates older than two years, the languages officer at TH Wildau will make a decision on case-by-case basis as to whether the applicant’s language skills are sufficient.

b) B2 shall be deemed validated from applicants, whose higher education entrance qualification or advanced technical college certificate from a German school shows at least a Grade 2 (B) in English or at least a Grade 3 (C) in an advanced English course.
Where necessary, the languages officer from TH Wildau or the degree programme director will make a decision on case-by-case basis as to whether the applicant’s language skills are sufficient or the conditions in a), b) have been met.

Preparation courses
We recommend checking in good time as to whether it is useful for you to participate in study preparation courses (in German) prior to commencing your studies. Online tests in the subject of mathematics will help you come to a decision. Prior knowledge in these subjects is an important basis for various study modules and therefore necessary for the success of your studies in light of past experience.
