University Information Day - HIT - at TH Wildau 2025

On 24 May, it's that time again: TH Wildau invites interested parties to the "HIT 2025" on campus and presents the variety of degree programmes, service facilities and projects.

University Information Day - HIT - 2025

2025, TH Wildau's annual HIT will take place on campus on Saturday, 24 May from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Interested parties can get to know the university and the programmes and services on campus, talk to students, lecturers and employees and have a look around the laboratories.

In addition to presentations of degree programmes, laboratory insights and other highlights, TH Wildau will be presenting itself at over 40 stands on campus as

with the topics of diversity and inclusion
as a family-friendly university
as an innovative university with spaces for creative working and learning, including the Future Mobility Centre, ViNN:Lab and Opp:Lab
as an international university
as a sustainable university

as a university in top form
or with the TH Wildau solar boat
with the Wildauer Maschinen Werke

In addition, there will be news from research and transfer in the ScienceBox, sports, games, fun and culinary delights on the campus meadow, the award ceremony for the winners of the Student Physics Olympics and much more.

Presenter Susanne Trotzki from radioSKW will lead through the programme. In the podcast ‘TH Themen’ from 8 May 2025 on radioSKW (in German) there is also a lot of information about the university information day at TH Wildau.

Opening: 10 a.m.

Welcome by the President of TH Wildau, Prof Dr Ulrike Tippe, and the Mayor of Wildau, Frank Nerlich, at the ScienceBox. Followed by a tour of the campus with the President.

Campus and hall of residence tours

Guided tours of the campus take place every half hour from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., in English at 11:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Guided tour of the hall of residence on campus at 12 noon, meeting point at stand 11.

The hemisphere experiment

Experience a piece of scientific history: In a new version of the famous Magdeburg hemisphere experiment from
1657, a horse and seven students try to separate empty hemispheres from each other.
