Democracy needs academic freedom, and academic freedom needs democracy.

At our event, you’ll not only get your morning coffee: Experts will offer engaging insights into the delicate balance between democracy and academic freedom and explore the question: How vulnerable is our freedom? The event will be moderated by Susanne Trotzki, radioSKW, who will also lead a moderated discussion with the audience at the end.

The event will be held in spoken German.

Afterward, visitors will have the opportunity to tour two special exhibitions on the campus: the “Globe of Academic Freedom” and the outdoor exhibition “Your Places of Democratic History.”
