11th Wildau Solar Boat Regatta

The University of Applied Science Wildau, in collaboration with the Wassersportclub Wildau e.V. and the Solarbootverein Deutschland e.V., is organizing the "Wildauer Solarbootregatta" on September 5, 2026, at the Dahme riverbank (Villa am See - Klubhaus & Hafen).

The solar boat regatta is being held for the eleventh time in Wildau and attracts participants from Germany, Poland, Hungary, and other countries. The race venue is located just 600 meters from the University of Applied Science Wildau campus, providing the teams with a challenging course to test their skills.

We will once again be able to enjoy many exciting races this year. In the first round, the endurance of the boats will be tested over three hours. This will be followed by a race to determine the speed of the boats and finally a duel between the competing boats.

The solar boat regatta offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience water sports with modern renewable technology. Food and beverages will be available in good weather. Spectators will have an excellent view of the racing action due to the proximity of the venue and can cheer on the teams.

We invite you to join us on September 5, 2026, for the "Wildauer Solarbootregatta" and cheer on the teams as they compete for victory.
