Welcome on the Days of Ukraine 2026 in Brandenburg - 7–9 October in Wildau / Berlin
The “Days of Ukraine” are held annually by the German Ukrainian Academic Society (DUAG e.V.). In 2026 the host is the federal state of Brandenburg and the organizer is the Technischen Hochschule Wildau - Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau (TH Wildau)(close to Berlin). Under patronage of the Minister for Science, Research and Culture, Dr. Manja Schüle, the event is organized by Prof. Dr. Marcus Frohme and his team.
2026 marks the 10th anniversary of DUAG and is a good reason to celebrate. Yet, in the 5th year of russian wartime atrocities against Ukraine, the Days of Ukraine 2026 shall contribute to the reinforcement of an unbreakable bridge between Germany and Ukraine.
At TH Wildau, we will showcase “Ukrainian science” in Brandenburg, i.e., research by or in collaboration with Ukrainian scientists or R&D about or for Ukraine in various disciplines. Also, the Days of Ukraine serve as a networking event for junior and senior researchers, but we also invite representatives of politics and science organisations to participate.
The Days of Ukraine start on Wednesday (Oct. 7) with an opening evening in the “Brandenburg embassy” in Berlin (Vertretung des Landes Brandenburg beim Bund).
On Thursday and Friday forenoon, the scientific program in Wildau will present the research fields of the various universities in Brandenburg as well as teaching and networking initiatives. Another highlight will be the festive (Thursday) evening in the Berlin Brandenburg Academy of Sciences in Berlin. We expect highly honourable speakers from science and politics.
For Friday afternoon we offer various activities on the campus, close by or in Berlin.
REGISTRATION is open until 31st August 2026.
No registration fee; lunch and dinner included; travel and accommodation on your own budget.
We look forward to welcome you in Wildau
