At today's meeting of the Senate on 26 June 2023, Professor Ulrike Tippe was re-elected President of Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau (TH Wildau). Her second term of office begins on 1 December 2023.

"I would like to thank the members of the Senate for their trust and accept the election. I am delighted to have the opportunity to lead our university for another six years. We have achieved a great deal together in the past term of office and had to face crises with the coronavirus pandemic, Russia's war of aggression in Ukraine and the resulting consequences, which certainly no one could have foreseen in this accumulation and to this extent. And I think we have managed this very well together. But there are further challenges ahead that we need to prepare for. That is why we launched the 2030 strategy process last year, which will take some time yet and which - I am firmly convinced - will make us fit for the future. And last but not least, the upcoming negotiations for the university contract, which will come into force in 2024, will keep us very busy in the coming weeks and months," says Professor Ulrike Tippe, reflecting on her re-election on 26 June 2023 in the Hofsaal at TH Wildau.

The successful re-election was preceded by a presentation open to the university public on 30 May, in which Professor Ulrike Tippe also addressed the Strategy Process 2030 in particular: "The aim of the entire process and the associated workshops is to sharpen the profile of our university for the future. Always with the aim of shaping a future worth living together in mind," she summarised.
