Completion of the audit process as an important step in the creation of an internationalisation strategy
The project on the university-wide internationalisation strategy has taken an important further step: Following the successful completion of the audit by the audit team of the HRK (German Rectors' Conference) at the end of 2021, the university is now allowed to use the German and English versions of the seal "HRK-Audit kompakt. Internationalisation of Higher Education 2020/21". This will also make the path to internationalisation visible to the outside world.
"We are of course very pleased to have taken this further step towards a joint university-wide internationalisation strategy," says Karin Schmidt, Head of the International Office.
"In this context, my team and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all project participants for the always open and constructive nature of the exchange and the many suggestions and ideas."
In addition, the technical expertise of the HRK colleagues during the consistently pleasant and professional auditing process has been very helpful in shedding light on the current status of the university with regard to the topic of internationalisation and thus developing measures, ideas and proposals for further development.
Next Steps: Strategy Commission
The development of a university-wide internationalisation strategy will be continued primarily with previous project group members. To this end, a strategy commission will bring together the results thus far in order to embed the future internationalisation strategy into the university's conception of itself.
