Information about stays abroad as part of your studies
Students can benefit from a study abroad programme at any stage of their studies. In addition to broadening and deepening subject-specific knowledge, a stay abroad during the Bachelor's degree primarily serves to gain a more general insight into a different study system, train intercultural skills and improve language skills. These requirements remain in place during the Master's programme, but are often supplemented by an interest in specific topics or research questions and projects.
Thanks to exchange places at around 40 European partner universities and a number of other universities worldwide, TH Wildau has the opportunity to support and facilitate stays abroad at both study levels - either as part of existing cooperation agreements or as a free mover.
It is important to know that the application for a study place abroad and the application for funding the stay - except within the Erasmus+ programme - are usually two separate steps.
