On hot days, please pay particular attention to the latest updates regarding courses, rooms or formats. Information is usually provided via Moodle, email or the university’s usual communication channels.
Laboratory and practical sessionsOpen areaClose area
Special rules may apply during field trips, work placements or in laboratories, for example regarding clothing, safety or attendance. If you are unsure, please ask the relevant teacher directly.

When temperatures are high, online teaching can be an alternative, provided the format is suitable for the course. Lecturers decide on the appropriate format for hot days.
Withdrawal from an examinationOpen areaClose area
If you are unable to sit an examination (e.g. due to extreme heat), please make use of the option to withdraw from an examination as described in the TH Wildau Framework Regulations, or submit the form ‘Notification of inability to sit an examination – Application’, together with the relevant supporting documentation, to the Faculty Dean’s Office no later than three working days after the examination date.
