Study objectives
Aviation is one of the most dynamic business sectors in the world and has always offered fascinating job opportunities for qualified professionals. Innovative technologies, ecological requirements and increasing competition have transformed the structure of the industry dramatically and will continue to pose further challenges in the future. Therefore, there is a growing demand for a new generation of professional managers with a deep understanding of the global value-chain in aviation ranging from aircraft manufacturing to the airlines, including airports and infrastructural services such as air traffic control.
The innovative Aviation Management Master's programme offered since 2007 will provide you with all skills and qualifications that are necessary to boost your international career in different fields of aviation. The two-year part-time study programme combines technical and operational know-how with broad management skills using state-of-the-art methods. You will learn from recognized experts representing both academic institutions and leading companies in this industry. Due to excellent teaching and supervision, you will gain fundamental insights into the success factors in aviation and will have the opportunity to work on practical study projects of your own. Intensive seminar weeks will provide you excellent supervision while the study mode allows you to combine work, family life, and studies.

2. Aviation Management
Principles of Civil Aviation, Aviation Engineering and Technologies, Civil Legal Framework of International Aviation, ATM/ATC, Safety and Security, Airline Management, Airport Management, Manufacturers, Maintenance, Aviation and Society (Social impacts of Aviation).
3. Management and Social Skills
Project Management, Leadership and Motivation, Negotiation and Presentation, Cross Cultural Communication, Decision Making and Problem Solving Techniques.

Admission requirements
- University-level qualification in engineering, business, or social sciences (Bachelor’s degree, Diploma degree)
- Fluent command of English (Level B2.2/C1 CEFR, any of the following: TOEFL, IELTS or CPE). No language certificate is required for native-speakers and students with a degree from a programme taught in English
- Minimum of one year of professional experience
