INNOMAP - Indoor location system based on image analysis of prominent points
Background
INNOMAP deals with application-oriented research of an innovative method for locating and navigation. The desired solution can expect unprecedented precision and, in contrast to existing methods, can also be used in particular in the interior. The simple, resource-saving and cost-effective applicability of the innovative concept can improve existing processes and open up new fields of application. Especially for the logistics, but also in trade and traffic, a high economic potential for automation solutions and assistance systems based on it is to be expected. The INNOMAP project does not only strengthen the innovative potential of applied research, but also the competitiveness of companies in Brandenburg.
