Ray Trautwein, M.A. | Diversity Manager and Director of the Career Service

Ray Trautwein serves as Diversity Manager at TH Wildau and also heads the university’s Career Service. In his role as head of the Diversity Office, he reports directly to the president and is responsible for the strategic development of diversity as a university-wide cross-cutting issue. At the same time, as head of the Career Service, he shapes the strategic and conceptual direction of programs related to career development, employability, and collaboration with industry partners. His work is grounded in organizational sociology.

Ray Trautwien sees himself as an organizational designer specializing in strategy, diversity, and career development. To this end, he combines the topics of diversity, anti-discrimination, securing a skilled workforce, career advancement, and (knowledge) transfer into an integrated approach. The goal is to sustainably embed diversity as a strategic cross-cutting issue in the structures and processes, in the collaborative culture, and in the public image of TH Wildau, as well as to further develop the Career Service—at the Center for Research and Transfer—as a central interface between the university, the business community, and society, ensuring that it is aligned with the needs of students, graduates, and employers (both in the region and beyond). In this way, Ray Trautwein contributes to shaping TH Wildau as an innovative, diverse, and socially responsible university.
