Davos/Klosters Jakobshorn
What could be better than starting the day on freshly groomed and untouched slopes? High up in the snow on the summit of the Jakobshorn at 2590 m above sea level in the mountain hostel of the same name, you can do just that every day. A wonderful mountain panorama, the view of Davos down in the valley and unique sunrises and sunsets are included free of charge.
The accommodation offers cozy multi-bed rooms (4/6 beds) on several levels. The sanitary facilities are located on the floor. There are 2 restaurants available for half-board meals. Bed linen or a sleeping bag is required for the accommodation.
The ski passes already include the day of arrival and departure (8 days ski pass in total).
The almost 300 kilometers of slopes are spread over 6 ski areas. This includes challenging runs at World Cup level as well as intermediate and easier runs. In addition to several fun parks and toboggan runs, there are also approx. 100 km of groomed cross-country ski trails and approx. 160 km of cleared winter hiking trails in and around Davos. The longest descent is 12 km long (from the 2844 m high Weissfluh summit) and 80% of the ski area lies above 2000 m.
For freeriders and ski tourers there are various options on Jakobshorn, Parsenn and Rinerhorn as well as a separate ski area without groomed pistes (Pischa).
Ice skating rinks and a thermal spa in Davos round off the leisure activities on offer.
As the highest town in the Alps, Davos may not quite have the charm of a small
