Tennis

In addition to our tennis camp for beginners and advanced players, we are also offering semester courses this summer semester.

Tennis camp:

On the beautiful grounds of the ESV-Lok Berlin-Schöneweide, the racket is swung for 2 days of 4 hours each and the yellow felt balls are chased after. In addition to the basic strokes (forehand, backhand), the training also includes learning how to volley, smash and serve.

Through a high number of stroke repetitions you will learn the different techniques step by step and will be gently introduced to playing together.

Slightly advanced players also have the opportunity to take part and get the necessary fine-tuning for their technique. We will then divide up into groups of 2 players of different abilities. Fun is guaranteed!

Varied warm-up programs and games are fun and round off the sessions. The camps are run by a licensed tennis coach.

Tennis courses

We run our tennis courses in cooperation with ESV-Lok Schöneweide. Depending on your level, you can choose the right course for you.

A1 (Beginners): In this course you will learn the basics of tennis. Step by step, you will be introduced to technical training of the individual strokes and also to playing together.

A2 (Advanced Beginners): If you have already taken part in a tennis camp or A1 course, this is the right course for you. The basic strokes (forehand, backhand, serve, volley, smash) should be known and applicable in their basic form.

F (Advanced): This course is suitable for players who can use all basic strokes (forehand, backhand, serve, volley, smash) and have a stabilized fine form. It should be possible to place the balls evenly in predetermined corridors.

Notes:

• Please wear shoes suitable for sand courts (outdoor tennis shoes)
• Tennis rackets are provided by University Sports or the club
• Participants are not insured against accidents by either University Sports or the club
