Voices of our beneficiaries:

"Sometimes I have ideas for teaching that require an above-average amount of creativity, experimentation, thought time, and preparation. While these ideas would lead to great learning success, they often get neglected in the hectic pace of everyday life. The project now offers a direct opportunity to give these ideas space, develop them, and bring them to fruition. I'm very grateful for this; the students are already looking forward to it, and I'm incredibly excited about the results!"

Lydia Göse, Professor of Digital Marketing

"The application process is incredibly simple. The team of the Career Centre for Professorial Development was able to answer my questions easily and supported me well throughout the application process. It helped me put my project on paper in a structured way. This gave me a reason to approach it systematically."

Isabell Peters, Professor of Administrative Informatics, especially e-Government

Target group

All professors can submit applications, but newly appointed professors (from 2019) will be prioritised in accordance with our funding guidelines.

The applications are reviewed in a two-stage process (Career Centre for Professorial Development and dean) with regard to their plausibility and quality. It will also be assessed whether a reduction in terms of timetabling is feasible.
