Dr Markus Glöckner has been a legal advisor for 20 years and head of the administrative office responsible for appointment procedures at the University of Rostock for more than 10 years. He has also been lecturing on higher education law topics throughout Germany for 20 years - including at the Academy for Higher Education Law, EuroAcad GmbH and inn:öv.

... means lunch and still picking up new ideas - the new online format, initiated by the Career Centre for Professorial Development (KpE), offers exciting input on various university-related topics to experienced members of the university who are open to development - in particular members of appointment committees, students and staff with an interest in academic self-administration. In the winter semester 2025/2026, Dr Markus Glöckner will share his knowledge about appointment procedures in a compact, well-founded and directly applicable way in three sessions of our Lunch & Learn series.
