TH Wildau has been participating in this program in its various phases for over 30 years and has supported a wide range of activities with different partners in these regions during this time.
The currently approved DAAD project Eastern Partnerships at TH Wildau will run for a period of three years (2025–2027) and includes measures with the following partner universities:

- GEORGIA: Caucasus University Tblissi
- KAZAKHSTAN: Deutsch-Kasachische Universität (DKU) Almaty
- UKRAINE: National University of Radio Electronics (NURE), Kharkiv
- UKRAINE: Boris Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, Kyiv
In times of rapidly changing foreign policy conditions and international relations, the promotion of university partnerships between regions makes a decisive contribution to the continuous scientific exchange between Germany and its eastern partners and is thus also an instrument of science diplomacy.
