Forum for Sustainable Mobility at TH Wildau

Forum for Sustainable Mobility (SuMo)

The Forum for Sustainable Mobility at TH Wildau is a feature of the DAAD-funded TH Wildau Sustainable Mobility Academy.

It is a cross-departmental working group, which is based at the Centre for International Affairs and brings together a cross-section of staff and students or lecturers from the two faculties, co-chaired by the Sustainability Manager. The activities of the Forum aim to increase awareness among all university members about how issues of sustainable mobility affect us all, starting with everyday (international) campus life.

Activities

Sustainable Mobility Day (June 2023)Open areaClose area

'Sustainable Mobility Day' at TH Wildau will raise awareness of sustainable mobility on campus and show how everyone can become active in this area. Examples of how this day can be organised include making university members aware of their carbon and energy consumption 'footprint', advertising TH Wildau's memberships in the "Flying Less" initiative and in the German Society for Sustainability at Universities, and screening a sustainability documentary.

But this list is not exhaustive, and the Forum for Sustainable Mobility will solicit ideas from the campus community and implement them.
