Issing-Kronplatz-Dolomiten

The idyllic village of Issing is located in the Puster Valley in South Tyrol. After a bus ride of about 13 km, you reach the villages of Percha or Reischach for the entrance to the Kronplatz ski area.

The ADAC ski guide calls Kronplatz the "South Tyrolean ski mountain of superlatives". The center of the ski area is a plateau from which the slopes extend in all directions. The 116 kilometers of slopes (23.9km difficult, 42.7km medium, 49.4km easy) can be accessed from Bruneck, Olang and St. Vigil. Thanks to ultra-modern snow-making equipment, a good and continuous snow quality is guaranteed.
The three fun parks in the skiing area provide for an additional good mood. The Kronplatz Snowpark, located between the Belvedere and Plateau slopes at 2,230 meters above sea level, consists of an Easy Line, a Medium Rail Line, a Medium Kickerline and a Family Fun Line. The Korer Park near the Bruneck/Reischach valley station also offers fun with its various boxes. In the Kids Safety Park below the Alpine mountain station, the big ones feel quite small again in the slalom course with steep curves and tunnels.
Issing belongs to the municipality of Pfalzen, where various shopping facilities are within walking distance.

In the Pension Grünbacher we regain our strength after a long day on the slopes. Our cozy domicile has 2-4 bed rooms. Two rooms share one bathroom. At the good South Tyrolean food we strengthen ourselves daily in the morning and in the evening by the in-house kitchen. Drinks can be bought in the evening from the landlady at the bar. The cozy dining room can also be used as a lounge. In the house there is also a sauna area for a fee, which is very nicely furnished. An extra relaxation room as well as tea and water is provided. In the neighboring village there is the possibility of tobogganing with large tires or to visit a facility for curling. If necessary, there will be a torchlight hike there through the forest.
