Argentine Tango

Argentine Tango goes beyond images conveyed by Hollywood: tango as danced in real life values playfulness over drama, joy over gymnastics, and always invites us to interact fully with our partner.

Everyone is welcome: whether with or without experience, transitioning from other dances, music lovers and those searching for their rhythm, introvert dancers and extroverts with three left feet. Likewise a warm
welcome to everyone aiming to dance outside traditional gender roles, e.g., queer dancers, leading women, following men, ...

This year we are offering 2 courses, a beginner's course and an intermediate course, so that we can meet everyone at their respective "experience level".

If you sign up as a fixed couple, you can complete the course with your fixed partner (although occasional change of partners is welcome and can make better dancers). Those signing up individually should be willing to dance with other individual participants of all genders, and also be
ready to try out the other role (lead/follow) so that there is an overall balance at any moment.

You will need comfy clothes and curiosity, everything else will follow.
