Spotting Addiction – Getting Support
Type of event: Information event
Venue: Suchtberatung LDS Hochschulring 2 (House 7) 15745 Wildau
Organiser: Infopoint
The semester break is a noticeable relief for many. At the same time, the pressure of the past few weeks often becomes apparent. In such stressful situations, some resort to short-term coping strategies such as alcohol, cannabis, hours of gambling or excessive consumption of digital content. What initially seems harmless can develop into a lasting problem.
Counselling (German or English) is provided by the LDS Addiction Counselling Centre (Tannenhof Berlin-Brandenburg) on campus and is aimed at people who would like to address the following issues:
- Alcohol or cannabis consumption
- Gambling
- Excessive consumption of pornography or computer games
- Generally addictive or stressful behaviours
Do not hesitate to take advantage of this offer. In stressful phases, it is often helpful to allow a neutral view from the outside - and to take the first step towards relief.
