With about 20 per cent international students from at least 60 different countries, TH Wildau is a place of diverstity and multiculturalism! This unique mix of nationalities, cultures, languages and traditions is a core value of TH Wildau and should be celebrated.

Let's celebrate together during the International Afternoon,
on Thrusday, May 16, 2024 from 3 p.m. till 6 p.m. in Hall 17

Programme:

• 3.00 - 4.00 p.m.: Presentation of partner universities and exchange opportunities. (Hall 17, Audimax), Welcome address by Prof. Dr. Ulrike Tippe, President

 

• 4.00 - 6.00 p.m.: International Afternoon (Hall 17, Foyer), Welcome addresses by Mr. Frank Nerlich, Mayor of Wildau & Prof. Dr. Rainer Stollhoff, Vice-President for Studies and Learning

Opening of the country tables with music, food, games and much more.

Outgoer table: Personal advice for students and staff interested in a stay abroad (Dr. Angelika Schubert)

What awaits you on this day:

• Traditional recipes from different countries, try culinary delights
• Languages and writings, learn how to say “hi” or write your name in another language
• Typical dances, discover new movements
• Instruments and music, learn new rhythms
• Traditional clothing, get inspired by handmade fabrics and colors
• Meet other students, gather information about a semester abroad
