With about 20 per cent international students from at least 60 different countries, TH Wildau is a place of diverstity and multiculturalism! This unique mix of nationalities, cultures, languages and traditions is a core value of TH Wildau and should be celebrated.

Programme:

3.00 - 4.00 p.m.: Presentation of partner universities and exchange opportunities. (Hall 17, Audimax), Welcome address by Prof. Dr. Ulrike Tippe, President

4.00 - 6.00 p.m.: International Afternoon (Hall 17, Foyer), Welcome addresses by Mr. Frank Nerlich, Mayor of Wildau & Prof. Dr. Rainer Stollhoff, Vice-President for Studies and Learning

Opening of the country tables with music, food, games and much more.

Outgoer table: Personal advice for students and staff interested in a stay abroad (Dr. Angelika Schubert)

What awaits you on this day:

Traditional recipes from different countries, try culinary delights
Languages and writings, learn how to say “hi” or write your name in another language
Typical dances, discover new movements
Instruments and music, learn new rhythms
Traditional clothing, get inspired by handmade fabrics and colors
