Mourning for Prof. Dr. Andreas Paul Timmermann

We mourn the loss of Prof. Dr. Andreas Paul Timmermann, who passed away on January 19, 2025.

Prof. Timmermann was an honorary professor of innovation management at our university until December 31, 2012. He was also involved as a board member of the Otto Lilienthal Foundation and as a board member of the Berlin-Brandenburg Aerospace Alliance (BBAA).

As managing director of the BBAA, he was deeply committed to the aviation industry in the capital region for many years and shaped numerous initiatives with his dedication. Innovation and the promotion of young talent were always close to his heart, and many projects bear his signature.

Our deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones.
