Optional Italian Course for Beginners (A1.1)Open areaClose area

This course is aimed at students with no previous knowledge of Italian. The aim is to provide an introduction to the Italian language and to develop basic skills for communicating in simple everyday situations.

 

The focus is on introducing pronunciation, basic grammatical structures and basic vocabulary for topics such as greetings, family, leisure and studies.

 

Course participants learn to ask and answer simple questions, hold short conversations and communicate about familiar topics. Step by step, the foundations for further language learning are laid. The aim is to provide a further introduction to the Italian language and to build basic skills for communication in simple everyday situations. The focus is still on an introduction to pronunciation, basic grammatical structures, and basic vocabulary on topics such as greetings, family, leisure  , and studies.

Course participants learn to ask and answer simple questions, hold short conversations, and communicate about familiar topics. Step by step, the foundations for further language learning are laid.

 

The course takes place online. The same Moodle platform as for course A1.1 is used.

The course is conducted in Italian, with German used for grammatical explanations where necessary.

Optional Italian Course – Intermediate (B1.2)Open areaClose area

This course is aimed at students with language skills at level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Its aim is to systematically expand existing Italian language skills, strengthen the ability to communicate in everyday situations and promote the confident comprehension of the main content of spoken and written texts. Particular attention is paid to developing spontaneous expression and the ability to formulate coherent presentations on familiar topics. In addition, basic grammatical structures are consolidated and thematically relevant vocabulary is expanded.

 

The course takes place online. The same Moodle platform as for course B1.1 is used.

 

The course is conducted in Italian, with German used for grammatical explanations where necessary.

 

Please note: There is no exam for this course.

This course is aimed at students with language skills at level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. It aims to deepen students' knowledge of the Italian language, consolidate their confidence in spontaneous communication, and further develop their expressive abilities and competence in the use of linguistic functions, structures and vocabulary. In addition, it strengthens the ability to understand and write more complex texts and to take a differentiated position on familiar as well as more abstract topics.

The course takes place online. The Moodle link will be provided on time.

The course will be conducted in Italian, and German will be used for grammatical explanations if necessary.

 

Please note: There will be no exam for this course.
