Ultimate Frisbee

Ultimate Frisbee ist eine actionreiche Mannschaftssportart, mit dem Ziel die Frisbee durch geschickte Würfe in die gegnerische Endzone zu transportieren. Ultimate Frisbee ist die einzige "selbstregulierende" Mannschaftssportart der Welt, dass heisst die Spieler klären untereinander eventuelle Foulspiele und andere Regelwiedrigkeiten. Das fördert die Fairness und funktioniert nach dem Prinzip der Gegenseitigkeit.

The aim of the game is to catch the disc thrown by a teammate in the opponent's end zone, for which the team receives a point. Ultimate combines various game elements from basketball and American football, for example. The attacking team tries to run into open spaces; the defending team tries to gain possession of the disc by covering and blocking. This makes the game very run-intensive, but the person with the disc is not allowed to move from the spot.
