Innovation & Entrepreneurship

Specialisation offers from Business Administration

This specialisation is aimed at students who want to help shape innovation and start-up processes in companies and organisations. Students learn to analyse challenges triggered by digitalisation or climate change, to identify technology trends and market opportunities and to professionally manage and support innovation processes in organisations. Methodological skills are taught for the implementation of business start-ups and for the development of new business areas in existing companies (business development). In addition, students develop their own product ideas, for example, up to the first prototype. Specific innovation methods and entrepreneurship methods, such as design thinking, creative methods, empathy methods, product evaluation methods, rapid prototyping, methods of early user integration or the lean startup approach, are at the centre of the transfer of skills.

Exemplary modules: Innovation in the Knowledge Society,
