Checking prior knowledge
We recommend that you check up on your prior knowledge of mathematics in good time before starting your studies and refresh it, if necessary.
In the Business Managementdegree programme for example, the Quantitative Methods module builds on prior knowledge, which is usually acquired in the bachelor programme. Experience has shown that entrants not coming directly from the bachelor's programme or who have previously studied a degree programme with little mathematical content require a refresher or acquisition of prior knowledge.
You can test your mathematical knowledge online.
