Pec pod Snezkou

If you love exercise in the great outdoors, like to work up a sweat, don't give up when the wind and fog blow around your nose and enjoy group activities, our cross-country skiing course is just right for you! The destination of the trip is the eastern Krkonoše Mountains around the village of Pec pod Snezkou at the foot of the famous Schneekoppe.

The special feature of this mountain range is that it has the character of a low mountain range below around 1,300 m above sea level, but is characterized by alpine landscapes above. This diversity is unique in Central Europe.

Our accommodation, the Lesni bouda (forest hut), is situated at an altitude of 1,100 m in the middle of the national park, 3 km from the nearest village (Pec). It is also an organic farm in summer and is widely known for its good cuisine. The Lesni has multi-bed and some twin rooms, a cozy common room and an outdoor pool with warm water, which is also in operation in winter. The cross-country ski trails start right in front of the house. The area offers cross-country skiing opportunities for beginners, advanced and experts. There are both groomed and ungroomed trails.

Ski training takes place in groups with different levels of ability. The groups undertake full-day tours on skis, into which technical units are incorporated by the team leaders.

You can also expect activities that all groups do together, such as ski gymnastics and various games (e.g. snowball biathlon).
