International Afternoon

With about 20 per cent international students from at least 60 different countries, TH Wildau is a place of diverstity and multiculturalism! This unique mix of nationalities, cultures, languages and traditions is a core value of TH Wildau and should be celebrated.

Let's celebrate together during the International Afternoon,
on Thrusday, May 16, 2024 from 3 p.m. till 6 p.m. in Hall 17

Programme:

• From 3.00 pm: Presentations from our partner universities / "Wildau International Week" guests presentations
• From 4.00 pm: 
  • Official opening of the International Afternoon
  • Opening of the country tables with music, food, games and much more.
  • Outgoer table: Personal advice for students and staff interested in a stay abroad (Dr. Angelika Schubert)
• 6.00 pm: End of the event

What awaits you on this day:

• Traditional recipes from different countries, try culinary delights
• Languages and writings, learn how to say “hi” or write your name in another language
• Typical dances, discover new movements
• Instruments and music, learn new rhythms
• Traditional clothing, get inspired by handmade fabrics and colors
• Meet other students, gather information about a semester abroad
