Wilbert
Wilbert (Wildau books+e-media research tool) is the library search engine. Wilbert is based on conventional search engine technologies: the creation of an index file in combination with a simple query form. By entering your keywords into a single search slot WILBERT has parallel access to our library catalogue and other specifically selected information sources (subject specific repositories, journal directories, table-of-content-services etc.).
Wilbert searches through over eight million records, which are updated on a daily basis, containing sources from printed and electronic media available on the campus.
Wilbert offers a parallel search in:
- all printed and electronic books available at the Technische Hochschule Wildau — University of Applied Sciences (online catalogue)
- all printed and electronic journals available at the Technische Hochschule Wildau — University of Applied Sciences (ZDB, EZB)
- full texts from the Open Access Repository of the Technische Hochschule Wildau — University of Applied Sciences
- full texts of latest articles of selected journals
- full texts from EconStor, a publication server for scholarly economic literature
- data from nationally licensed products (e-books, e-journals).
Online catalogue
In our online catalogue you can find the entire collection of our library (books, e-books, theses and journal titles). For each item a record has been created, which is displayed in a hit list. The record provides information about the location and availability of the item.
Library catalogues do not index full texts. Those looking for information from contents of texts (e.g. journal articles, book chapters) should search within databases.
