Welcome to the writing centre!

Are you writing a paper or thesis and want to brush up on your academic writing skills or need support in the writing process?

In the Writing Centre

  • you will receive input on the basic requirements for scientific papers in the introductory workshops. The content will be deepened in short exercises.
  • you will have the opportunity to present the current status of your work in weekly sessions and receive feedback from other students and the staff of the Writing Workshop.

The Writing Centre is a supplement to the supervision of your work by the subject faculty. The Writing Centre is not responsible for

  • the supervision of the content of your work and the
  • editing or proofreading of your work.

The offer is free of charge for students of TH Wildau.

Due to pandemic regulations, offerings will also be conducted online. Details can be found in the individual offer descriptions.

Note: The workshops of the Writing Centre are held in German.

For offerings in other languages, please contact the Language Center.

Individual appointment

Are you having a hard time getting started writing? Would you like feedback on your outline? We can discuss these and other topics related to scientific writing in an individual appointment.
