"What mode of transportation do you use to get to work?" "How far is your commute to work?" These are just two of the questions we asked you last November. Now we present you the results and the impact on the sustainability of TH Wildau. Afterwards, we would like to get into an exchange and discuss measures together.

April 19: Ökofilmtour-18th Brandenburg Festival of Environmental and Nature FilmOpen areaClose area
The Ökofilmtour will make a stop on our campus and show the film "How can the traffic transition succeed?Metropolises on the Move"
The documentary shows how our cities can become more livable. Urban planners and politicians around the world are transforming their cities: In Paris, Mayor Anne Hidalgo is closing the city highway on the banks of the Seine and turning it into a promenade. The government in Barcelona under Ada Colau is closing entire neighborhoods to cars to reduce air pollution. Copenhagen builds bicycle expressways that will soon connect cities across the country. In Berlin, a model city is being built on the site of the former Tegel Airport. The documentary shows groundbreaking approaches for a successful traffic turnaround in our cities.
This will be followed by a film discussion.

May 31: Presentation of the sustainability report of the TH WildauOpen areaClose area
TH Wildau publishes its first sustainability report for the year 2021. In this event, we will present the requirements of the German Sustainability Code for Higher Education Institutions, show how they are implemented by TH Wildau and what the benefits of sustainability reporting are.

After last year's symposium, the second Sustainability Day organized by students and employees of TH Wildau took place on October 20.
October 2021 First Systainability symposiumOpen areaClose area
On October 25, 2021, the first Symposium on Sustainability of the Wildau University of Applied Sciences took place.
After three keynotes by external experts, lecturers and employees of TH Wildau presented examples from the areas of teaching, transfer governance/operations and research.
