Since December 1, 2017, I have had the privilege of leading TH Wildau as President. In the next few years, my activities will focus on the areas of flexibilization, "internationalization, digitalization and professionalization. In doing so, it is a great pleasure for me to work together with the members of our Presidential Board, all colleagues and students to further develop our university in such a way that it will be able to meet the requirements of a university of applied sciences in the 21st century.

I am currently not involved in teaching activities. Before taking office, I worked at TH Wildau since 2004 as a professor for E-Business application systems and e-learning. My teaching activities covered the following fields: Mathematics, E-Business, Knowledge Management, Project and Change Management as well as Personal Management Skills.

Project leadership:

  • 2023-2024: DAAD project within the framework of the special program Internationalization of Universities of Applied Sciences" (HAW.International): TH Wildau Sustainable Mobility Academy.
  • 2019-2021: DAAD project within the framework of the special program Internationalization of Universities of Applied Sciences (HAW.International) aiming at developing an internationalization strategy for TH Wildau.
  • 2016-2020: SOS2:  Structuring and optimisation of self-study tutoring, e-assessments, mathematics; funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Quality Pact for Teaching). Upon taking on my new role, Vice-president for Studies and Teaching, Prof. Nikola Fee Budilov-Nettelmann, took over the project management.
  • 2016-2018: Project “Profilgebundener WissensCheck” [“profile-related knowledge checks”]. Joint project with BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg (project management), FH Eberswalde and FH Brandenburg, (internally managed by the university, overall Director of the joint project: Prof. Koziol, BTUCS). Upon taking on my new role, Vice-president for Studies and Teaching, Prof. Nikola Fee Budilov-Nettelmann, took over the project management.
  • 2016-2018: Development of the TH Wildau College for Study Preparation and Student Support (funded by the ESF).

  • 2016: Welcome@th-wildau.de study preparation and language courses for refugees (funded by the DAAD).
  • 2015-2017: Coordination of measures for supporting the integration of refugees in the region as well as into life at the university, internal project, funded in part by the local district council and the state of Brandenburg.
  • 2013: SYSTAK system accreditation: Support for developing quality management system for degree programmes and teaching, funded by the MWFK (Ministry for Science, Research and Culture in Brandenburg).
  • 2012-2013: EDF project “Math for Study”. Objective: The creation of multimedia e-learning units as study preparation for mathematics.
  • 2011-2016: Project “SOS - Structuring and optimisation of self-study”, financed by the “Quality Pact for Teaching”.
  • 2011-2014: ESF project “Servicezentrum Studienformen” [“Service Centre for Modes of Study”]
    Objective: Creation of a competence centre dealing with learning and teaching. The primary task of this centre is to design and implement “blended learning” concepts for distance learning degree programmes. Later renamed to “Servicezentrum Lernen und Lehren (SeL²)” [“Service Centre for Learning and Teaching”].
  • 2008 -2010: Internal project “learn@wildau” together with Dr Margit Scholl and the University IT Centre. Objective: Design and implementation of the university-wide e-learning platform.
  • 2005-2007: Leonardo project Nedlog: Creation of e-learning modules for KMU in the field of logistics with partners from Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Germany.
  • 2005-2007: Leonardo project Nedlog: Creation of e-learning modules for KMU in the field of logistics with partners from Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Germany.

  • 2012-2014_ Leonardo project lot4eng (project management Prof. Neumann); continuation of the nedlog project (revising and updating the e-learning modules).
  • 2007-2009: Leonardo project MOPEM: Development of e-learning solutions in the field of marketing together with partners from Poland, Portugal, Italy and Denmark, project management Prof. Scholl.
