The research activities are in the fields of photonics, optics, optoelectronics and sensor technology and include in particular

  •     Materials research
  •     Design, simulation, manufacturing and characterisation of new components and devices
  •     Process development and optimisation

There is a close cooperation with the "Leibniz Institute for Innovative Microelectronics" (IHP) Frankfurt (Oder) in the "Joint Lab", the joint research and training centre of the IHP and the TH Wildau.
